About the Autumn school

The Autumn School on Ultrafast Lasers (ASUL2023), is conceived as a satellite school to the UFOXIII and will take place in the campus of the Centro Atómico Bariloche and Instituto Balseiro in Bariloche (in close proximity to the conference venue) from March 24th to March 27th 2023. The school is aimed at graduate students, and will provide introductory lectures on nonlinear optical phenomena, radiation-matter interaction in strong-fields and ultrafast lasers and instrumentation, highlighting the different aspects of ultrashort and high-power laser pulses and technology, as well as discussing their applications and the state of the art of the field.  The school will benefit from nationally and internationally recognized experts in each of the topics covered, many of whom will also participate in the UFO XIII.
